Bäckerei Harms GmbH trains retail salespeople in the food crafts at its branches in the district of Lüneburg. Places of work may include Lüneburg, Deutsch Evern, Hohnstorf, Bleckede or Bardowick; in the sales team, apprentices learn the range of baked goods, snacks, cakes and coffee. Training and further education are intended to open the path to team or sales management; a 4–8 week Erasmus stay abroad at a partner bakery is part of the offer. The apprenticeship is considered a foundation for becoming a master craftsperson, sales management or a degree in food technology.
